Beyond Studio: Therapeutic Somatic Yoga & Embodied Practices

Beyond Studio is more than a space to move, it’s a space to belong.

​

Our weekly therapeutic group classes are intentionally small, limited to eight participants, allowing space for safety, connection, and self awareness to naturally unfold. Each class is rooted in trauma informed principles and somatic awareness, offering an embodied approach to healing rather than a one size fits all workout.

​

Weekly offerings include Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Sculpt, Yin Yoga, Reiki and Restore, Beyond Release, and Mindfulness Meditation and Breathwork. Classes such as Reiki and Restore blend restorative yoga postures with Reiki energy work, while Beyond Release integrates myofascial release techniques with yin yoga to support deep tension release and nervous system regulation.

Complementary practices such as meditation, breathwork, and somatic techniques are woven throughout classes to support regulation, embodiment, and inner balance. These offerings are designed to meet you where you are and support both physical and emotional well being.

Beyond Brain and Body is first and foremost a wellness and retreat center. While therapeutic group classes are offered weekly, they are not the sole focus of the space. The heart of the work lies in one on one sessions, small group work, retreats, workshops, trainings, and programs designed to support deeper healing and integration. Group classes exist as an accessible entry point and a supportive complement to this broader work.

This is not a traditional studio model. It is a space created for intentional practice, meaningful connection, and whole person healing.

Vinyasa Flow

In this Vinyasa Flow class we build strength and flexibility to  allow personalized alignment adjustments and muscle engagement.

Yoga Sculpt

Long held poses that encourages introspection

This style of Yoga focuses more on strength training with lots of options and not as much on flowing. Remember to listen to your body

At a pace to allow for customization

Increases strength, stability, mobility and flexibility

 

Suitable for all body types

Yin Yoga

"Deep, stretchy" Yoga poses mostly on the mat

 

In Yin, we hold poses for anywhere from 3-5+ minutes to target both the deep muscles and the fascial system throughout the whole body

Increases circulation and improves flexibility

​

Releases emotional blockages that hide in our tissues

​

Reduces stress & anxiety

Reiki and Restore

This is all about rest and relaxation

 

We use the assistance of props to allow our bodies to become fully supported, allowing our muscles and connective tissues to surrender.

Supports parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest)

Releases fascia and improves joint mobility

 

Calms the mind & body

Beyond Release

Myofascial release paired with Yin Yoga

A grounding blend of Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release designed to soften tension, quiet the mind, and support whole body healing.
